Wild horses

I seem to be on a pony theme at the moment, about 2 miles from here is a wetland conservation area which we never knew existed until a few weeks ago when we went down a narrow country road and stumbled upon it.

Its called Cors Bodeilio & today we went to investigate, theres a boardwalk part of the way round & these Welsh ponies are left to graze there to help maintain the vegetation.
We saw marsh marigolds amongst the reeds and a patch of (according to my trusty wildflower book) Early Purple Orchids so we'll definatley visit again.
