Pollen pinching

Lovely sun and too much choice today. I'd just got some pics of this clematis, as well as a handsome ladybird in the front garden, when B suggested a walk followed by tea and cake somewhere. Well, under those circumstances work can wait! We went water vole hunting, and had the best sighting ever. One fearless little water vole stayed around, playing to camera, for about 10 minutes, while we took photos and videos. Unfortunately the pictures weren't great, and I know some people think they look like rats, so I've put

And the tea and scones were lovely, too. Now back to work. :-(
