Mr Bug

Our weeding in the garden I came upon Mr Bug

He got a bit agitated, but I HAD to get a photo of him. This is the best unfortunately as he wouldnt stand still for me.

I have no idea what he is. I thought he might be a lacewing, but I dont think he is. He's smallish, with a forky tail and big buggy eyes. Bit like a miniature praying mantis with a forky tail and wings.

Yes! Nickynocky has hit the nail on the head...its a Mayfly :) (very grateful Nicky...it would have driven me maaaad)
