Jellyfish in Monterey Aquarium

Today Paul and I started out road trip to San Francisco, driving up the California 1 (breathtakingly beautiful drive via Big Sur) and stopped at the aquarium on Cannery Row in Monterey.

It's a fantastic centre, with intertidal zones, reef systems, even rescued wading birds, but the highlight is the Deep Ocean section, which has loads of tanks with pretty jellyfish in them.

Today was a nature extravaganza.... on the coast we saw elephant seals, harbour seals, dolphins, brown pelicans and even a sea otter!
