Sky Train

Last nights celebrations went off splendidly. So well indeed that the last of the bunch didn't go to bed until 4am. They were still up and about by breakfast time at 9 though. Iron constitutions the lot of them.
Today Mrs.Joesblips and I headed due west to the great peat bog plain in the midlands where we visited the now disuses workings at Lough Boora. The peat is now all used up but the area has been turned into an amenity with walks, angling facilities and art installations. This here is one of the narrow guage trains which were used to transport peat from the cutting sites to the local peat fired power station. The train is now part of the art installations although it's a moot point whether such a thing can really be called art.
