Took some pictures at church this morning for the website. I feel weird about that, but it does allow me to take candid pictures at church without people thinking I'm just a creep, which is really nice.

One of the many things I love about my church is that the people there are so relational. I think a lot of people have this mindset that "church people" are just judgmental and stiff; even I think that about other churches I visit sometimes. Church can be an intimidating environment to step into. But it's not like that at all with my church. You can look anywhere and you'll see someone giving a hug, a handshake, having a good deep conversation, kids playing, families interacting, people praying with each other... and it's all just natural. I loved being able to go around and capture some of those moments today. And I get to do it every Sunday for a while, which I'm really looking forward to.
