Nail

Today we had to attend a family christening in silsden just a few miles from where we live , I picked up my farther on the way as he cannot drive at the moment due to his recent operation . As we arrived at the Methodist church I thought we must be at the wrong place as all the people there were very scantily dressed more for a night club .
The youngsters of today certainly don't mind showing of there flesh ( some could have don't with keeping it covered ) .
Anyway the service was fine the usual ramblings and dunking of heads in water , I'm no great fan of religion but is was ok .
I snapped this sculpture on the way back from the lunch which had been arranged for us which was very nice , I think silsden used to make a huge amount of nails in the past and this nail has just been put up in the town carpark .
