Pecan Flood

Well, not a flood exactly.

This is one of two times a year the pecan groves get irrigated. The road cuts right through the grove. The trees on the southern side are mostly too far away to see up close but the other side is right up next to the road.

This was the only section I saw being irrigated. I either missed the rest or it is yet to come. It lasts about three weeks in the Spring and repeats in Autumn.

I might go out to find another section being irrigated to get a different perspective. The sunlight today gave it a hazy look.
