Don't Rain on our Parade...

How brilliant is our little village? Today, as part of the bi annual Children's Book Festival we had a re enactment of the 'Linton Rebellion' which was a minor battle in the civil war, and according to some sources happened in our garden.

Anyway this is Matthew Ward, if you have children then you will probably know the excellent Horrible Histories, Matthew was part of the telly series and played the main role today.

It was excellent, they set up a village, had a real Cannon that was rather loud

So a fun day, and the rain more or less held off!
