Tracy's 50th

My friend Sheila had arranged a surprise birthday party for our friend Tracy's 50th birthday. We met on a boat in Richmond (despite the rain) for some champagne. We then went to a restaurant called 'Gaucho' on the riverside. They picked us up with a golf buggy!
Things did not go well from the start and our dinner didn't arrive until 11:15pm and it was cold. It's a very expensive restaurant and I reckon the bill would have easily been 700 quid. The manager let us off and we had everything on the house. Hubby and I had gone out with 200 quid thinking we'd come home with pennies as change. Instead, all I spent was a fiver on the taxi home.
