Their Master's Voice

Our two youngest daughters are at home this week-end. One of them brought her two dogs with her. While she was in the basement talking to her sister the dogs went to the top of the stairs to listen. With ears perked up the dogs waited for their master to ascend but neither of them was willing to expend the energy to go down and look.
