Flowering Cactus

This prickly pear cactus was one of the first things I saw today when walking from the airport terminal to get our rental car here in Arizona.

There are cacti everywhere here in all shapes and sizes, and many different kinds of flora than in New Jersey. Today, we saw and heard many different birds as well, and saw several roadrunners!
