What a long day today turned out to be...

After running late for the story-hour at the library, so late, in fact, we completely missed it, we met with some moms for a playgroup (thankfully at the same location as story-hour!). It was fun for Sean, since he was all over the place, but I wasn't able to really chat with any moms since an overactive toddler in a huge public place is a little scary and I couldn't take my eyes off of Sean for a second, for fear someone would walk out with him in tow.

After the library, we packed up, with childish resistance, of course, and headed home for lunch and naps. I accomplished nothing during his nap, due to the start of a bad headache, which persisted throughout the day...
After naps, we decided to take our car to the inspection station. As of last night, we'd passed our 10 day deadline for a physical inspection for the insurance company and are now without physical coverage since the guy doing inspections at the station decided to head home early today.
The grocery store redemption area didn't take Mountain Dew cans, so I'd trucked them all out for them to reject them...I dropped a huge tub of butter and cracked the bottom, then after that, a jug of juice which happened to land on the cap and explode everywhere...My kitchen floor is still sticky because the roaring pain in my head isn't helping to motivate me to clean it properly...

It has been an awfully inconvenient day...And now I retreat to my dreams!
