Duck Race on the River Lym!!

I blipped this waterfall on the 29th April and today I happened to be passing just as a duck race was being held. The RNLI lifeboat men ensure all the ducks get to the finish line (if you look carefully a the top of the photo you can just make out the boot of one of them). When I was on the lifeboat crew I did this several times and it was always far easier if the water level was higher - that was the ducks go faster.
