Bells and whistles

Not quite. This is my outfit for the ball on Saturday, couriered here by my folks after some panic on-line buying last week when it became clear that I do not have the same shape body I did before the kids showed up.

So, a day of cleaning and scrubbing. Unfortunately my parents were delayed by their flight from Amsterdam being cancelled - so they had a few hours sitting around pointlessly there, though on the plus side it did give me more time to clean the house. After they arrived and had had the grand tour, we ate a mountain of duck and chips and then all drank too much wine or whisky.
