Pakawau beach sunset.....

I arrived in the beautiful Golden Bay for a few days stay at 'my beach house' (Lol! I wish!)

It was an absolutely stunning day today - I spent some time sitting on the cabin's deck reading, some time walking along Pakawau beach, some time being totally mesmerised by dozens of Tuis, Bellbirds and Silvereyes feasting on fresh new growth and some time chatting to a guy who was whiling his time away whitebaiting.

And to top it all off, a shorter evening walk back along the beach with camera at the ready to capture a nice although unspectacular sunset.
