Gently down the stream

Mummy, feed me

Went down to Southwold, to the Harbour Inn for a fish and chip lunch. Gorgeous! It was quite warm. Lots of people down there wandering about, buying fish fresh from the boats at the little wooden kiosks and having a drink in the sunshine.

This young herring gull was sitting on a mooring post and kept opening its mouth. As no sound came out I can only assume it was hoping mum would come along and shove a fish down its gullet. Isn't its tongue amazing - like a long pink razor.

Felt like a proper bank hols. Hope your Mondays have been good too..
