Driving around town looking for inspiration for a blip. Started at Somerset Park.My daughter only realised today that 1910 was important to her father because of the Ayr United link and not actually because it formed part of her date of birth(quite impressive it has taken her so many years to find this out).A wet miserable day and the park was under lock and key.
Thought of an old family home at Prestwick Toll that my Aunt tells me stories about: an old weavers cottage, the street lamps were powered by gas and visitors from Troon could be seen returning safely home through a telescope.Changed days.Solar panels covered most of the roof and no sight of Troon.
Wallacetown Cemetry, chained and padlocked.A shot from the distance and a google search to discover the identity of the imprisoned statue.
