It's a sign
Honestly, I leave Carl and Anna alone for one day and she ends up with this. It is not possible to convey how pleased she is. I'm yet to establish what she is going to manage and I have been told that she doesn't want to know if, for example, a tap is broken. As long as she doesn't start issuing memos we should be fine.
Jackson and I were at a chess tournament. All day. As I feel compelled to mention on each of these occasions it is a bit of a grim deal for the parents and this one was particularly bad as it involved a lot of driving and a lot of sitting in a crowded, windowless room. But Jackson did well, winning 4/7 of his games and he really enjoyed it. And I did get to do quite a bit of reading and tea drinking. So not all bad.
Now to find a bank holiday film for the evening, thanks to the wonders of filmflex as the tv schedulers seem to have ignored this important tradition.
