And a partridge in a pear tree

Well not really but we did see a good few birds including a Great Crested Grebe, Common Terns, Cormorants, Gulls and an Oystercatcher which gave us a wonderful display by popping up in front of the hide and then flying off. The weather wasn't that special and opening the window at the end towards the sea was a recipe for a bitter wind whistling through the hide so we didn't do much of that.

We invested in some pork pies on the way home and eat them en route and then we did some DIY in putting up a shelf for child #2.

Time to rest and prepare for a day of office excitement in East Grinstead tomorrow. I hope that your Monday has been suitably scrummy - lässt los!
