One for the road...

So,after every long weekend has to come the inevitable and laborious packing and 3 hour drive home. Today's "ordeal" though made slightly better by my lovely family who a)fed me a yummy breakfast b)filled my iPod with lots of singalong songs (mainly McFly) and c)insisted on driving half the journey with me and feeding me (a pattern is emerging here) at the Squirrel in Ludlow. Returned to my road in Bristol to a very near miss - a car had just crashed and the poor patient was being loaded into an ambulance - one more drink at dinner and that could so easily have been me:blessings are now very much being counted...makes work tomorrow not seem so bad at all!
