What a day...

Firstly, well done to Sarah on her appearance on the Sky at Night last night, excellent photos and a good interview.

Two sessions at the gym this morning, much needed. This afternoon I accompanied a friend to the hospital as she ws having a mammogram and had not encountered the system at Torrevieja hospital. We arrived at 4pm for her 4.30pm appointment. When you arrive you have to register with the 'Rottweiler' she is the nurse who never smiles and never speaks, unless she has to. You hand her your appointment letter, she hands you a questionnaire, she then dismisses you with a wave of the hand. You go into the waiting area, fill in the questionnaire, then wait for her to call your name out over the tannoy, and you have to listen very carefully as she speaks no english her pronunnciation is somewhat suspect. You then go back into her office, hand her the questionnaire and sit whilst she inputs the details into the computer. If for some reason you have not answered a question correctly, she gives you back the paper and points to the question and you make the correction. After she has transferred the information into the computer she then tells you to go to xray room 14. Carole eventually got to xray at 5pm, out at 5.15pm we then went for a coffee.

I had to go shopping, and Carrefour were selling off all the plants that had been on display for Mothers day, which was Sunday, so I bought these orchids and some lovely roses. Finally arrived home at 7.15pm I think Roy had thought I had got lost. Just sitting down to our evening meal and the door bell went, our neighbour had returned the hedge trimmer and a lovely pot plant for me. So from going to having no flowers, I am now inundated with them. So for the next couple of days blips will consist of flowers.
