the "aarh" factor

We'd arranged to visit a friend who lives in Brixham as part of a short holiday in Devon with the Bristol based daughter and granddaughter. " It's pirate weekend" she said, "you can dress up if you like". It all seemed too complicated to organise with only a day before we went away - but we had the surreal feeling walking around Brixham that we were the odd ones out, wearing 2012 clothes!
