Bank Holiday Gardening
An early morning walk to blow the cobwebs away, nothing better than a bit of fresh air and countryside. Got a little bit lucky with the weather as well, as it didn't rain but the mist was down on the top of the mountain.
As it was a Bank Holiday I decided to join the millions of people around the country who were paying a visit to a garden centre. Just to clarify we weren't all at the same garden centre that would just be insane! Lol! Pyle Garden Centre is a great little place; you will have seen it in PontyCyclop's journal when his father opened it, after it changed hands recently. It brings back some good childhood memories as well, when we went there on the train, for some reason the strongest memory of this was the exceedingly good toast on the train. Lol!
As I said it's a great little place, it feels like it's out in the country because of its setting, the main London to Swansea railway is behind it and it's just a great place to wander round taking in the beauty of the flowers and shrubs that are there. I spent a little bit of money, I must admit, on some bedding plants and a bargain of six alpine plants for a tenner. Result!
Today has been a good day!
