Sleep Transitions...

Bethany is at a funny stage just now where she may or may not be needing her afternoon nap.

It's getting harder to take her up to her bed in the afternoon and get her to lie down and have a wee hours nap willingly.

Today she illustrated beautifully that it is a transition period. We were playing up stairs, she was messing about in her room and kept popping through with books to read or boxes to open. Suddenly it went a bit quiet. I popped my head into the hallway to find her lying face down in the middle of the hall.

Checked she was okay and then got her a pillow and a blanket and she happily nodded off for an hour.

This obviously isn't her but her brother when we all took a wee trip up to Dobbies to look at the fishys after her wee snooze.
