Corners (A Ghost Story)

We finally started shooting today: my ten-minute film, Corners. It's a ghost story, basically a man relating to his laptop/camera an incident that's been troubling him, about a strange boy coming to his door some time ago, a boy he wouldn't let in.

We actually found a young boy to play the part, the son of friends of mine, Eoin. He was brilliant, as was my cousin Pat in the lead role and his son Fiachra as the cameraman/assistant director. But, wow, what a learning curve! We were all exhausted at the end of the day, and we only managed three full takes.

The film isn't in black and white incidentally, though I thought this screenshot (taken from the shooting session) worked better in monochrome.
