Pumpkin seed soda bread: unexpected cuisine

We cooked a classic roast lamb lunch for the hungry hoards, followed by Barbara's fabulous cherry and almond pudding, produced in a flash despite her feeling well below par. I drove to Skenfrith to see 'the gang' on their campsite and joined them for a while in the Bell, leaving them to enjoy their gourmet supper. The old Monmouth Road provided some stunning scenery in the low sunshine. Arriving home I was surprised to find Peter, Felicity, Sophia and George in full swing constructing dinner. Their industrious preparation of warm salad and pumpkin seed soda bread, when accompanied by a 2005 Chianti given to us by a friend three years ago, rounded off our day very nicely. Thank you all for the reciprocation.
