Ruby slippers memories and Nails

When I was little I used to go to my nans house a lot as she was only up the road from us. I used to go to her wardrobe and look at (and sometimes try on) a beautiful pair of red patent leather shoes.
After many years of this my nan gave me the shoes which were a tiny size 4 and I quickly grew out of. Over the years we moved house many times and the shoes are now gone
I was in Boots the other day and saw this nail varnish which reminded me so much of the shoes and I had to have it! It was about £1.50 from the natural collection and I couldn't be more happy with it. This nail polish sparked some happy memories of a simpler time.
