AUTUMN SKY

Well, funny old sky today, funny old weather in fact. This morning was warm, then VERY windy, now the cold is setting in, the temperature is dropping, its like the calm before the storm... the clouds are slowly getting lower and blacker. The sky is moving through a spectrum of colours from blue to grey to pink to yellow and back to grey and pink again, the cloud formations are changing constantly and the weather forecast is for nasty weather...

"There is uncertainty as to where the low will cross the country on Wednesay. The easterly flow has hte potential to direct significant rainfalls into Canterbury, Marlborough and Wairarapa. But due to the uncertainty of the position of the low, it is difficult to identify the main target areas. Current guidance would suggest that the heaviest rain may fall in Canterbury and Eastern Marlborough and a warning will likely be issued closer to the event."
