Snow?

Had to get a cherry blossom shot in before they fall completely. I was struck by the pink petals falling on the bright green grass, almost like snow.

Cherry blossom always reminds me of Susanna's birth. I'd expected to be in and out of the hospital, but three large haemorrhages kept me in for a week, then another week of bed and iron tablets for months. I did develop a taste for black pudding. Cherry trees line our street and it was just wonderful to see them in blossom after all that trauma.
