View from Linlithgow Palace

This is the view from the top of the highest tower of Linlithgow Palace, which is very high. It was a cold, wet, Bank Holiday and we drove through to Linlithgow to see the Palace, birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. It's very impressive but must have been even more so in its day. There were lots of stairs, tunnels, underground rooms etc to keep the kids interested and the adults wondering where they had got to.
