A picture of a frame or three

I decided to get some pictures framed that Olivia did when she was three and a half years old. I thought she'd be really pleased.

Her response (with a scrunched up nose): "Why did you get those pictures done?"

Me: "Because me and Daddy love them and it's when you first became really interested in drawing 'people'."

Olivia (with a scrunched up nose and furrowed brow): "But I can draw much better now."

Me: "Yes I know you can darling and we love the pictures that you do now, but these pictures are really special to us and we'll get other pictures that you do framed......"

Ever feel you're fighting a losing battle?

Note to self: never try and reason with a four year and three quarter old.
