Broad Beans

These are the first of crop of broad beans, yes, only three, but they were good. They were sown in early June, at the beginning of winter and germinated within three weeks. It's been quite difficult trying to guess when to sow seeds, as the winters are so mild, but this year very wet. The timing of the beans appears to have been good as there are lot more on the way.
