Baby Robin

Hooray! I've got the Lumix back from being vacuum cleaned so it is now pristine and dust-free. At least for a while.

To celebrate we went for a wander by Craiglockhart pond. This baby Robin was so well camouflaged against the path that I nearly stepped on it; it fluttered to the side of the path, perched on the branch for a while and then rummaged about the undergrowth as Mum flew in to keep an eye on things. Neither seemed particularly concerned at the two huge humans, one of them wearing red and taking photographs.

If you look in large you can see a couple of tufts of down on its head.
