Made it!

I got on the train this morning at the start of a long day and realised I hadn't been to vote.

For the first time since I turned 18 I wouldn't be voting and it didn't feel right.

Much later, I got home earlier than expected and made it to the polling station at about 5 to 10.

Felt quite sorry for the polling station staff still stuck there waiting for closing time but strangely relieved that I'd made it back in time to cast my vote.
