Curse you fluffy stuffing!
Another rainy day... hmmm, what to do? Oh, make some simple throw pillows for the couch. That should only take me a few minutes, right?
Well, it would have if the fluff I purchased wasn't charged with static electricity. I no sooner opened the bag of stuffing and my "simple" project took a turn toward the dark side. The static made it difficult to fill the pillow, causing it to back up at the opening and spill out with the smallest of movements.
What happened next? I stressed out a bit - yup, I cursed some - then I couldn't hold back the chuchles as I stood back and evaluated my situation. More chuckles came as I walked to the garbage and a trail of fluffy stuffing followed.
Rather than stop my pillow project due to disaster, I forged ahead and completed my pillows. I hate them... the fluff must be made of latex or something similar because they smell like a big bag of balloons. It's all quite amusing really - I've had the fabric for a year, I finally bought the fluff (seeimingly nice stuff), and had a rainy day in which to sew them all up.... then it quite literally blew up in my face.
Oh well, I'll go back to my 'ole stand by fluff and try it all over again.
