Morning disco
A few years ago this glitter ball rolled down an empty street towards our car. The fact that I'd always wanted one made me stop the ball in it's tracks and bring it home. It lives under the hall table, but is sometimes borrowed for parties. I love the spots of light that are cast all around the hall when the early morning sun shines directly through the front door. Of course, this isn't an everyday occurrence and it lasts for only a few minutes each time. Today this happened at 6.50 am.
Lucie and I took Bow Wow for his daily jaunt at Magdalen Green. No sooner had we arrived than Gerry the spaniel bounded up and cocked his leg against me! His owner appeared not to have noticed and enthusiastically acknowledged us before continuing on his way.
There were lots of other dogs enjoying the lovely bright morning. This made our walk much more interesting for Bow Wow, especially when he came across some familiar furry faces. He made friends with a Rhodesian ridgeback called Nula as they drained some of their energy together.
I thought the bandstand looked beautiful today.
