The Big Cruise Day 2: boat roof horror!

When the steerer of a boat is also the photographer there is the great danger of many pictures including that b***, boring roof.

So, just to get it over and done with - here is the roof of our boat (which I will be looking at for many hours to come). I always try to avoid it in pictures - sometimes difficult. So, unless absolutely necessary, I hope this is the last time you see this view of it.

Friends have joined us for the day (there they are - we'll be meeting up with them again later) and are helping us down the Atherstone flight of 11 locks. Here we are going down in, I think, lock no. 5.

Happily, the weather has changed for the better, though still an April chill.
