Bluebells in a silent wood

..except that it wasn't silent. Birdsong filled the air in Kilmun Arboretum today as the sun came out and brought out the colours of the bluebells and the young greenery. I love the new bracken and the bright, almost yellow moss on the rocks and tree stumps. I also love the fact that we had thought of walking in Glen Massan, to the south of here, but noticed as we drove there that it seemed to be raining. We were able to watch the rain continue to envelop the glen as we walked on this hillside in bright sunshine.
