View from the room

This was Sunday morning, the view from our window. I thought the red brick, tree and raindrops looked pretty, best I could do as it was pouring outside and I didn't want to get wet! I did try the porch on the way out as it was spectacular but all I got was rain and a blur!

We left the B&B and wondered into Bury St Ed but it was hammering down at this point so any thoughts of a nice walk in the gardens was out of the question so we decided to go support the cadets in Bedford at athletics. We got wet but not as wet as the poor kids so when I turned up with blankets and fleeces they were gratefully recieved. The most anoying thing was the sun came out just as the last race of the day finished! typical

Still had a good day and the most special part was my sis stayed with mum as well Sunday eve so I had a full week end off! She is a star
