obligatory dragonfly

So many missed blips...

Upon setting out on my errand list, I brought my camera with me, hoping for the moment, that flash of something not seen everyday...

like the guy with the raincoat that covered his entire scooter...

or the man with the giant cowboy hat leaving the topless bar...(classic "Midnight Cowboy" look; couldn't get that song out of my head then...

Upon grabbing my camera, and turning it on, (sigh) no battery...

So I present the Dragonfly who was kind enough to pose for me briefly, before flying off to avoid being consumed by a lizard...
