My back yard
Well not exactly, but it is just a minute or two from where I live.
This is the base of the Lammermuir hills in East Lothian. This area is used for sheep grazing and so called 'sporting' use - pheasant/grouse/deer shooting.
I don't have a problem with animals being killed for humans to eat, or deer culls to protect the land from a burgeoning population. However I do have a sense of distaste at the scores of rich visitors who arrive in the area, dressed in tweeds, to blast these creatures to bits and then just scrape the carcasses into a pit - all in the name of 'sport'.
I think I may be in the minority though...
