mock accident

The local police put on a 'mock accident' for our students today to lead into a discussion about texting while driving and just safe driving in general.

The brought a car that had been in a crash to our lawn and put students in to act out roles after a crash. Then the fire department came and used the jaws of life to cut them out of the car and then put them on the stretcher and into the ambulance. One of the kids was put into a body bag - very sobering...

A great lesson for the kids to see.
