The River Neckar

A grey morning in Heidelberg and a stroll before breakfast produced this!

The River Neckar is one of the great German rivers that feeds into the Rhine at Mannheim. It is always busy with Rhine barges etc but in the early morning it is beautifully still and great reflections.

In the distance and in the clouds is the Philosophers Walk which provides stunning views etc but not today

This is a very special and romantic place indeed and recommend that you visit it if you ever have the chance
