The Oldest of it's its kind...

The pier that is ... yet another of Gravesend's claims to fame .. the oldest surviving cast iron pier in the whole wide World.

Restored in 2006 .. and that must have been a job and a half .. Not sure WD40 would fix that one . But it is quite quaint ... i will have to have a meal on it one day :)
