Darkness at Noon
Well not quite, it was just very dull and the time was about 1400 hours BST, which is an hour after the Sun is at its zenith, but you get the picture. It was raining for the earlier part of the day and is now raining again, as I type this, although it was dry when I took this picture. The picture is not deliberately under exposed, it really is very, very dull and you can see the rain clouds filling the sky.
In view of the number of comments that I have had about the garden size, I decided to take a picture from near the house, with a lens having a horizontal coverage of about 110 degrees, so that most of the lower garden could be seen. This part of the garden is about 65metres long and 30metres wide and forms something like half of the total garden area. The pond can be seen in the distanced, as can three of our apple trees, which are at long last in bloom.
