Gardens at Palazzo Madama

A wander in the upmarket Borgo Po, a very tasty lunch, a wander round the Palazzo Madama, which was original a gate house in the Roman wall, and has been built on and modified since. It contains an amazing staircase (that features in The Italian Job) by Juvarra and houses a great collection of decorative arts.
