Southbound

As Dave used to say 'still coming and going'. Today, out of the door at 7.40, on the plane by 8.20, in E1 6 LT by 11.10 and that included a broken down DLR train.
2 main meetings, 2 minor meetings and 2 catch ups, not bad for 6 hours work.
Now northbound with eastcoast. No seat reservations, no trolley service, delay at Retford, a rowdy drunken crowd in coach C. But I'm cocooned in another world, the Quiet Coach with the Hedgehog.
It's dark outside and very wet. 10 minutes late, it will be 11 before I'm home.
And next week I have to do it all again, yes, always coming and going.
