Thought for the day

Morning dear blippers. I am a little perplexed. I wrote about it last night on my blog & have awoken this morning with the same unease.

My question is this. When did love stop being the barometer by which we measure humanity? In a world littered with the stink of mankind doing all manner of hateful things in the name of what they claim to be their god, when did amore become no more?

So being told who I can love seems to be to be a step too far for our society. Here in the UK our churches are splitting apart on this very subject and now in the US I wonder if a very election may be decided upon this sole subject. Yes fellow special blippers, in a world full of need where we are constantly reminded of the many who are in desperate stakes, we choose to spend such time and energy on who people should not be allowed to love.

Well this morning I can't hold back. When my love said to me, 'Mi amor, te quiero mas que todo en el mundo' I lived in that freedom. Denying that right of another human living in the glow of that love is for me a crime against humanity.

This photo is my way of showing the struggle we have to get through to the light, the precious life affirming gift of sun that awaits us all and can truly let us fly.
