Felled, not fallen.

The high winds we had at the start of the year, the heavy wet snow we had a few weeks ago plus the amount of rain over the same period, a lot of our trees have taken a real hammering. This one was in a real wood, not a cash crop. I hate seeing such majesty toppled but it does open the canopy for new life on the woodland floor.
